Technologies to to detect APU status

To decrease emissions on the airside, it is important for pilots to turn off the APU as soon as possible. To enforce this guideline, Schiphol is exploring the use of different technologies to detect APU usage around the airside. In this report, we have researched and scouted the existing solutions and technologies available to detect whether an APU is switched on or off.
